Insurance and Billing

Will my insurance cover the visit?

We accept most PPO insurance plans. With most of these plans, there are no special requirements for your visit. Just come and bring your insurance card.

If you have an HMO insurance plan, you may have an urgent care provision which allows you to see us without special considerations. In these cases, no referral or prior approval will be necessary. Please realize that a "specialty" or "urgent care" co-payment may apply.

Please check with your insurance carrier for details.

Otherwise, if you have an HMO plan that does not have an agreement with Urgent Care Evergreen, you will be expected to pay for your services at the time of your visit. We can provide you with copies of the bill. Your insurance company may reimburse you. Please contact your insurance carrier to determine the specifics of your family's insurance plan.

If you have no insurance, please recognize that payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept cash, most major credit cards and local checks with proper identification. Whenever possible, we are happy to provide you with samples of medications to defray some of your costs. Please feel free to ask if samples may help your situation.

Who does the billing?

We have an in-house bookkeeper who is the point-person for most billing concerns. He or she will refer you to other resources as needed. Please contact our offices for further questions.
